Is Dragon Age Origins a good game?

I have be looking into it to buying Dragon Age Origins and I was wondering if it was a good game. I into games like Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Dragoon, etc. I was wondering if its like those, if its hard if its mostly fighting or puzzles, and if it has a good story plot? Finally on a scale of 1 to 10 1 being bad 10 being great what is it. ThanksIs Dragon Age Origins a good game?
Depends on how you define "good." After playing this game for a while (I'm still learning) I can tell you that I love the storyline, I love the characters, the voice acting is amazing, the graphics are beautiful, the scenarios are interesting and fun to play through and etc. It is mostly fighting and tactics-oriented. You get a "party" that travels with you that you can switch up and develop. So, when it comes to battles you get the chance to develop strategies and to balance your party with team members who have different skills and strengths.



On the downside, sometimes I wish that I could skip through some of the scenes, just because I made so many characters in the beginning (trying to figure out which fit me best, and just having fun with the character creator) that I've heard so much of that dialog so many times. Also, you can explore, but there's not too much going on outside of the main quest and some side quests. You don't really find fights and level up unless you are doing a specific quest.



But, the characters are mostly endearing, and the story will stick with you.
