Out of these four video games, which two should I get?

Dragon Age: Origins



I'm trying to stray away from the FPS genre because I've played way too many in the past few months and I think I might go crazy.Out of these four video games, which two should I get?
Since all I know is you are avoiding FPS games, I will describe what each of these games should be hunted with.



1. Halo 3: ODST



Pretty much like the other Halo games. However, it is more of a thinkers shooter than anything. You are human in this one. Cover, stealth, and surprise can be pretty big points in this. Still, just an FPS, so if you played the others, you are not missing too much.



2. Assassins Creed 2



If you played the first and liked it, you really should go after this one. It is better in many ways, with plenty of more customization, and some good variety. It is pretty good, but you are an assassin. Your main deal mostly ends up being you going about killing, then escaping. Get it if you like that sort of get close, get it, and RUN.



3. Brutal Legend



An interesting game. At times, its hard to tell if you are supposed to take it seriously or take it as a bunch of jokes. While the action can be spotty at times, the story is actually pretty well done. There is not too big a variety here, but some people like to have some familiar things to do. It is a bit more of a simple game, but a fun one.



4. Dragon Age: Orgins



This game is huge. And I mean 2 hour prologue huge. However, it is a good huge. There is a pretty good amount of action in this, as well as a very big amount of variety in how to do things. There is also a huge story to this. Actually, there are plenty of stories in this. This is an RPG however, so at times you might find yourself needing to do some level grinding so things in the next area don't kill you in a couple hits. But the game is deep, and fun if you like a good story and RPG elements.
I would say either Assassin's Creed 2 or Dragon Age: Origins. Assassin's Creed 2 would only make sense if you have played the first one though. Or, y'know, you could read the wikipedia page about the plot. That works too.

Anyways, the game is really fun, very action packed and has a lot of interesting things to do. It's really a good action adventure game!

Brutal Legend really isn't that great of a game. It's fun for about 5 minutes.

Dragon Age: Origins is actually really quite incredible. There is TONS of things to do, over 60 hours of gameplay in the main quest alone if you skip most of the dialog, and then you can play all the origins of the different races and classes. The gameplay is very good too; great battle system and it's easy to switch between characters when fighting, or if you don't feel like doing that and just want them to do their own stuff, that's possible too.

I don't really know anything about Halo, but from what I've heard from my Halo-obsessed friend, it sucks.

i herd dragon age sucks, one button combat an that doesnt sound to fun. Brutal legend i cant believe you considered that but its your money. But no i wouldnt get that eather. AC2 i herd it like GTA open world an you go to your missions an halo odst has 2 disk the alrite campaign with fire fight mode like horde on gears of war or nazi zombies on world at war. an the second disk is halo 3 multiplayer. I think halo odst is good in the longer run it will last longer an play it more often because of fire fight an halo 3 online play but its a fps. so AC3 if you dont want an fps



Or MW2 if you dont have it already???
then stay away from halo odst its just more of the same

brutal legend is a overhyped over rated beat em up that turns in to an rts half way through



so that leaves sragon age and assasins creed

not much of a choice really

1. Brutal legend (so,etimes u need to play something weird :D)

2. Assasin's Creed (the 1st was awesome!)

3. Dragon Age Origins (if you're in to RPG, like me)

4. Halo (well, or me, I just don't like the series...)

And I have played/am currently playing Dragon Age: Origins and it is not just single button combat (at least not with the Mage or Rouge.
Assassin's Creed 2, its a great game which was improved from the first one. The story is great and just checkout the reviews for it.
