The best Final Fantasy game is the 7th Final Fantasy game.
Good luck!
Hard to say, but I would so far narrow it down to 4 for different reasons:
FFVI - Last of the 2D generation, it has a large cast of characters, the most amount of espers in any (so far) and a great storyline revolving around an empire and rebels. Music was excellent and it's still fun to play today.
FFVII - Fanboy favourite, but not without reason. The storyline is deep and at times rather confusing but keeps you wanting to know what happens. The gameplay is excellent and highly down to your own preferences when you fight.
FFX - My first FF, and my favourite. The fighting system I think is the best as you actually control the aeons (summons) and can switch characters in and out mid battle during their turn. The story has flaws and some level of stupidity I have to admit, but despite that I loved it. The characters all have their own unique personalities and character flaws. Ok, so the story isn't as good as VII, but quite frankly I don't think any is. It is a very storyline driven game, to the extent it is quite linear, despite the abundant sidequests. It's definitely worth an investment.Which is the best final fantasy game?
RPG
Mafia1939 http://gamelist.bbgsite.com/goto/mafia19…
Mafia 1939 is a gripping Online Mafia game where you can take on the role of an oedinary Mafioso and rule the streets.
BC Wars http://gamelist.bbgsite.com/goto/bc-wars…
BC Wars is the web's first gaming experience in the prehistoric world. Start out as a regular caveman who minds his own business picking berries and hunting for food. Become a legend throughout time as you battle other neanderthals, wrangle dinosaurs, and build up your cave. This is also the first browser based game to adopt a real world economy where users can withdraw virtual money in the game for real money.
Battle Stations http://gamelist.bbgsite.com/goto/battle-…
Sios a world once united was devastated by an unknown force, Earthquakes swallowed the ground and the continents became separated by many leagues of open sky. Over time the people of Sios regained some of their lost technology and built airships to travel between continents. However it was only a matter of time before they would use their technology to wage war on each other.
Knights Honor http://gamelist.bbgsite.com/goto/knights…
The Middle-Ages.. A time full of history and tales. Knights, lords and kings tried to change the world for their purposes. Fights, tournaments, battles, 53 nations on a huge map of the Middle-Ages. Weapons and armor, horses, your fiefdom - adventure, glory, power and intrigues. Knight's Honor offers you unlimited possibilities in a world of battle.
I would say 6 (or 3 as I was know on the Snes).
You play rebels trying to overthrow an Empire. Fairly standard stuff but the main selling point is the main villain. Kefka is a villain with few comparisons. A true nihilistic psychopath he commits many actions that other villains in the FF series have never done. For example he has no reasoning behind killing everyone in a town other than he wants to. This madness beats other mad antagonists such as Sephiroth. Sepiroth killed because he thought it would be better for him, Kefka kills because he is bored.Which is the best final fantasy game?
there's really not a best one.
VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII, %26amp; XIII are all highly regarded. Just pick from there.
VI is available on SNES, PS3 (online store), and they are making a remake for 3DS.
VII is PS1 and PS3 (online store)
VIII and IX are the same as VII
X and XII are for PS2
and XIII are for PS3 and Xbox360
Hope you love the series! XIII is my favorite.
FF9 was my favorite followed by FF13
a lot of people will say FF7 , even though I loved it when it came out fans have hyped it up so much it's become hugely over rated imo
word of advice, don't play ff10-2 it's horrible
Everyone that came out for 7.
FF7(for ps1)
FF7:Crisis Core(PSP)
FF7:Derge of Cerberus(ps2)
FF10 is pretty epic(for ps2)
FF8 was also pretty good(for ps1)
All FF games have a good story, that's what makes FF so special. FF 6-10 is a good starting point though.
Final Fantasy 9 has got a good story and epic boss fights!
Final Fantasy 10 was my favorite
4, 6 and 7 have been described as the best ff games in the series
