What ds game I should get?

I put a lot of research into video game buying because I only buy one or two per year. I'm always on the lookout for games that are long lasting, enjoyable, worthwhile, have a good plot, and worth the money you pay. Here is a short list of games I've bought and enjoyed.

Bowser's Inside Story

Animal Crossing (which eventually got boring)

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Team and Explorers of Time (the only pokemon related games I've ever played)

Super Mario Bros.

Rune Factory 2

Brain Age 2 (nowadays I only play it for the sudoku)

and so no one reccommends it, I do have Nintendodogs and it's cute, but it gets old

These are some games I'm considering, and it'd be really helpful if you could take the time to tell me if the game's good, what it's like, pros and cons, or something like that.

The World Ends With You (although I'm still kind of confused about the plot, explain it further please?)

Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

Scribblenauts

one of the Professor Layton games (which one is the best?)

Dragon Quest: Sentinel of the Skies (i've never played a Dragonquest game though)

Quick Question, the Final Fantasy games are really popular but I've never played one ever before. What are they like, which one is the best to start with for the ds?

Sorry for the long question (and multiple questions scattered about) but I thought it'd be good to get multiple people's opinion on some of the games they played. If you'd like to recommend a game, please do. I think I like life simulation games, so if there are any worthwhile to recommend PLEASE DO! Thank you for your help, and I'm looking forward to your answers. What ds game I should get?
The World Ends with You is placed in Shibuya Japan. You are in a game world separate from the real world. Your goal is to regain the life that you have lost by completing missions (or in game 'days') to complete a full week (or chapter of the game). The risk is of losing the thing most important to you. The game plays with dual controls with d-pad and stylus.

Pros: Great plot, interesting RPG Cons: Learning curve

Dragon Quest: Sentinel of the Skies

Pros: Expansive game, great graphics Cons: If you don't like traditional RPGs don't get this

Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

Pros: Game is less frustrating than Phantom Hourglass, great Zelda music, great plot, you can control Zelda

Cons: Terrible customization options for train, if you like buttons and hate stylus controls

Scribblenauts

Pros: Imaginative concept, ambitious in its scope, its enjoyable to see your words come to life

Cons: gimmicky controls

Professor Layton (pretty much all of them are the same)

Pros: Interesting puzzles

Cons: Some puzzles are simply frustrating
Scribblenauts! Best DS game ever!

Try and watch a video of the gameplay to get a good idea. Character movement is a bit unresponsive IMO.

2 will be out soon. What ds game I should get?
a nintendogs game it never ends and there are four main types: Dalmation, lab,Chihuahua, and dachshuond and friends.
1. New Super Mario Bros

2. Need For Speed Nitro

3. Others... just get whatever you want!!!!What ds game I should get?
Get Scribblenauts!
kingdom hearts

resident evil
deal or no deal
If you like the Mystery Dungeon games, then get Mystery dungeon explorers of sky, which is like explorers of darkness but with more characters and unlockable bonus missions found in the main menu. Note: DO NOT PLAY THE MINIGAME STARRING BIDOOF!!! And for Spirit Tracks, Hyrule gets more advanced and has things like trains and things sorta like wheelchairs.

The game starts out with Chancelor Cole (Note: a lot of character names in the game are plays on train parts) becoming a chancelor for Hyrule to ge wealth and power and not to be, as he put it "The Royal Babysitter," which became the other way around, causing him to try to destroy the Spirit Tracks, which double as a seal for the monster Malladus. Cole recruits Byrne,a traitor to his own kind, who he later betrays.

The 2 seperate Zelda from her body, using it as a "vessel" for Malladus. Zelda's Spirit and Link set off to restore the Spirit Tracks. Zelda is able to possess Knight-like monster called Phantoms, which lets her carry link over traps, and talk to other Phantoms so Link can slip by them, get information, and make funny comments like, "Bob quit last week." Byrne, eventually being betrayed by Cole, becomes a goodguy and helps with you adventures. Hope this helps. BYE!!!
I would definitely recommend MySims, that is a nice and simple happy game. I tried Scribblenaughts, but that is boring. I love Drawn to Life, which is similar, yet really fun! Out of the Professor Layton games, I would recomend getting the first one first, and if you really enjoy it then you can get the second one- but be careful as the puzzles in the game are very hard, even though you can get soloutions from the internet if you are really stuck! Hope this helped, and good luck! (:
New Super Mario Bros

Pokemon SoulSilver

Mega Man Zero Collection

Tamagotchi no Pichi Pichi Omisecchi

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Chuck E. Cheese's Party Games

Cats %26amp; Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

Odoru Daisousasen The Game: Sensuikan ni Sennyuu Seyo

Metal Fight Beyblade: Bakugami Susanoh Shuurai!

Keshi Kasukun

Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo Hikari to Kage no Eiyuu
Personally, I wouldnt buy Scribblenauts. I have it, its a great game, but the sequel is due out at the end of the year, where the gimmicky controls are fixed, so i would get the sequel.

The professor layton games are excellent, but it depends how long it would take you to get bored with the puzzles.

You say you've only played mystery dungeon pokemon games... why not look into the general pokemon games, like Heart gold and Soul silver? they are excellent games and I get a lot of play time out of them.

Final Fantasy on the DS I didn't really enjoy, particularly because I feel games like that work better on a big screen.

Out of your list I would choose Zelda, but I would look into other games than those... I love games like Another Code, and the Phoenix Wright games.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks was pretty good.

Pros:

-Long game with cute characters

-The game and story has humor

-Multiplayer is fun to play with friends, and friends don't need a game cartridge

-Some fun puzzles you have to solve

-Train rides can be long sometimes, but enemies or rocks you can bomb keep you busy

-Cool different weapons you can use, as in every Zelda game

-Makes good use of the touch screen and mic.

Cons:

-Train rides can be long sometimes, of course

-There aren't many side quests you can do

I loved The World Ends With You, when you play the game, the plot is very easy to understand, since it's explained in the dialogue between the characters.

Pros:

-Great story

-Characters are well developed

-Long game, especially with all the extra missions at the end

-Fun gameplay and Shibuya has tons of stores you can buy things from

-In battle, you use the touch screen for Neku (main character) and the d-pad for his partner, which is unique

Cons:

-Bad in-game graphics, though I don't find this a problem since most ds games don't have good graphics

As for Professor Layton, Scribblenauts and Dragon Quest, I haven't tried any of those either. And for Final Fantasy, though I'd like to try more, the only one I played was 13. I agree with you about Nintendogs, it's cute but it does eventually get old.
Final Fantasy is a battle-time turn based RPG. In other words you basically run around, talk to people, buy weapons/magic/armour from shops and then enter random encounters in dungeons and the world map where you fight monsters. Killing stuff lets you gain experience so you become stronger and increase HP and MP. Some final fantasy's let you change jobs so you can fight however you like (white mage, black mage, dragoon, ninja, viking, summoner etc). Final fantasy games are always complemented with great music and a great story, I personally love Final Fantasy. I know that Final Fantasy 3 %26amp; 4 were remade for the DS, there might be others but I'm not sure. (There are also loads of other final fantasy games which aren't numbered including ones on the DS and they aren't part of the main series but I've never played them so don't know what they're like). I recommend that you watch a youtube video of a FF game first though just so you can see what it's like. I will warn you though that the earlier FFs (basically the DS ones) are a lot harder than later FFs in the series. Apart from that it doesn't really matter which you start with because they're not linked and the story/characters are different on each one. Hope that helped!
Personally, when I need to research a game, I check gamespot.com. They have reviews by users of the site, and reviews by their own staff. It lists the pros and cons of the game. It's a great resource for researching games.

I must say that I recommend playing a real Pokemon game though. Everyone should have played at least one, and I find them far more enjoyable than the Mystery Dungeon ones.
