Would you be interested in reading a novel like this?

It's a spin-off version with a twist about the iconic legend of Saint George and the Dragon. It's a humorous, fantasy adventure, romance novel playing on the common fantasy tropes and cliches kind of like Terry Pratchett, Piers Anthony and those guys. Anyhow, it's called "A Dragon Called George" and is about a young albino dragon who is made an outcast by the other dragons in his clan due to his skin colour and something else: Whenever his wings catch fire they never burn. Banished from his home and all other good dragons, he goes on a journey to see the world...or what's left of it!

Along the way, he saves a female warrior, half-elf and half-human, called Jocelyn who wants to become a knight and insists on being called Jo. However, the only way she can become one (since she's a girl) is by doing a feat of great honour and valor. Thus, she is currently on a quest to find the Lost Prince and restore him to the throne. The two unlikely adventurers team up since they each need each other and are joined by one more companion: A homeless orphan boy (around the girl's age) who is filthy and corrupt as hell but devilishly good with the sword and magic. He has many secrets and shadows of his dark past come back to haunt him on their journey to find the Lost Prince.

Along the way, the two young people fall in love making George jealous at first but then Jocelyn is kidnapped forcing him to work together with the mysterious warrior mage who turns out to be far more worthy and noble than he seems!!

Well, that's about it for now. It basically takes the legend of George and the Dragon and turns it upside-down, inside out and all around. It twists it about making it totally different, new and better...hopefully!! I know it's different but is it any good? Would you want to read something like this or not? It's set in another world and they have to travel through many different places such as a valley where travellers are plagued with visions, an island of strange, barbaric folk, and tunnels haunted by wraiths that transform into people you know and love. Then there are other bad guys like villains, goblins, and worse monsters. There are good guys too, as you have seen, but this isn't a walk in the park!

Any thoughts?Would you be interested in reading a novel like this?
Sounds like a good fantasy novel plot. As long as your characters stand out to the reader it would be a nice story to read. Good luck with it and it's a good idea.Would you be interested in reading a novel like this?
